Harvard thinks mental health creators are public health leaders
And other shocking things I learned at Harvard's mental health creator's summit
Honestly I don’t know how to write this newsletter.
I’m still utterly flabbergasted by last week’s events, and I’m not sure I’ll ever fully be able to articulate what happened in those hazy, magical, life-changing two days at Harvard.
*CW: mention of suicide and eating disorders.
**Disclaimer: any direct quotes from faculty/other people in this newsletter are paraphrased. Even though I was once a straight-A student, I have cut myself some human slack and took literally zero notes (except for when Carson Daly called me a superhero, which honestly I probably didn’t need to write down cos WHO FORGETS THAT??) All’s to say is when I’m quoting what people said they are NOT direct quotes this is a STORY not a research paper. Thank you for coming to my pre-TedTalk TedTalk
AAARRRGHHHHH ok can you tell I’m avoiding getting to the meat of this? GUYS I DO NOT EVEN I CANNOT COMPUTE WHAT HAPPENED!!
Also I am so terribly sorry to procrastinate just a tiny bit more but this is the part where I put up a paywall 😭!
I am NOT a fan of exclusivity, but I AM a fan of paying my rent on time. So this is one of those times I gotta find a both/and, meaning letting myself get paid for my work AND still offering those of you who don’t have it in the budget ways to still connect.
If you’d like to cozy up even CLOSER to me and my messy brain, I would LOVE TO HAVE YOU on the other side of the paywall. Just upgrade your membishippy to $5/month :)
